Lady Penelope (1533 – unknown)
Known for the powers of her physical charms, many affairs and illegitimate children, it was maintained she had once been a madam at a brothel where her two eldest daughters were employed. She also told everyone she was descended from a King. Despite being shunned in society at first, her powers and physical charms carried her until acquiring a title in marrying a newly created Baronet — thanks to her sister’s connections. He mysteriously broke his neck after a fall down a marble staircase shortly after.
